Katie Lynn Bohl

I'm currently the Designer Manager (Art Director) at Children's Mercy Kansas City. I love working within the realm of healthcare. Working towards improving the patience and family experience through design and messaging means a lot to me. My passion for the field stems from observing and watching my hero (my Mama) care for many patients and families during her years as a pediatric nurse.

 

As the Designer Manager (Art Director), I use my skills to lead our in-house design team, freelancers, contractors in conceptualizing, designing, and producing audience-centered on-brand creative solutions in support of Children’s Mercy Kansas City’s communications and marketing business goals. In other terms I lead our team in creating brand attributes that reflect and elevate our mission, vision, and values and tell visual stories that further our local, regional and national reputation. In this role, I take pride in collaboratively working with teammates, clients, and partners to develop unique solutions to every day problems and questions.
